About Dr. John L Clements Th.D., D.Div (Honoris Causa), Life Strategist - Entrepreneur - Motivator One Of England’s Most Loved Inspirational Speakers
John L. Clements, was born in 1948, the son of an Anglican clergyman. John received a boarding-school education. After serving an apprenticeship in an office equipment company, he progressed to retail management, and then spent a period as a company representative. He returned to college to qualify as a teacher. Three years reading Religious and Moral Education with Guidance /Counselling, (at the Neville’s Cross College, Durham University, England,) were followed by a decade of teaching these subjects in state-run and private boarding-schools. He holds the position of Non Executive Director on the board of directors to the European Coaching Institute and to the board of directors at Noble Manhattan Ltd. He is also a member of the Faculty of Noble Manhattan Ltd, Europe’s premiere training company in Life Coaching. To further his instinctive desire to motivate and inspire people, he established his own mentoring and performance-coaching practice in Norwich, England, in 1983. Enthused by these two decades of training and experience, he founded LifeWise Coaching, for which he has developed numerous courses, including Sales Training, Personal Development, and Leadership. He also offers consultancy services for change and empowerment – to individuals and for companies. He has also been featured in Dr. Napoleon Hill’s How To Sell Your Way Through Life, as one of Europe’s foremost experts on the late Doctor’s work. John rose quickly through the ranks of the Norwich Speakers’ Club (affiliated to Toastmasters International), gained Competent Toastmaster and Able Toastmaster awards, and became President. Progressing from that organisation, he was a Founding Member of the Professional Speakers’ Association of Great Britain (affiliated to the National Speakers’ Association of America). He is now an enthusiastic, highly booked (and, by all audience reviews, highly rated) convention keynoter and conference speaker on both sides of the Atlantic. He won the Pacific Rim Speakers Network Speaker of the Year Award for 2003. In recognition of his public-service lectures on personal financial responsibility he received the 2005 Educator of the Year Award from the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants. In 1999, John was ordained by the United Congregational Church in the USA and began two years non-stipendary clerical work as pastor of the Old Meeting House, Congregational Church (founded 1643) in Norwich, England. (This is one of England’s oldest remaining chapels and is linked to the Pilgrim Fathers through their Pastor John Robinson). Thereafter, John embarked on an itinerant ministry. John has a Doctorate in Theology from the Southern California Graduate School of Theology of the United Congregational Church. Subsequently, the same School awarded him an honorary Doctorate in Divinity. His itinerant ministry is growing apace, and he is also becoming an expansive influence in the business world.
